Normal size plants, on damp bare soil, on the south side of Pass
Road, east of the corral, Sutter Buttes, about 4 miles northwest
of Sutter. Uncommon, scattered. Flowers dark purple, short
stems at base have small inconspicuous flowers. Valley
Grassland. Elevation 250 feet.
