Field Char: Woody climber; outer bk pale
brown/flaky, wd stramineous, st releasing
copious dilute sap when cut; lvs distichous, w/
5mm petiole, adaxial surface glossy dk gm,
lighter brown below.
Notes: Flowers white, throat yellow, perianth
white; venation producing white latex.
Locality: Morobe province; N of the Busu River,
at Kumbok.
Habitat: Mature unlogged forest w/ dense canopy
layers, understory dark and relatively
open, level or gently sloping ground
of clay and interspersed limestone
boulders.
