along road to Ixcatlan, near where it branches
from road to Jalapa de Diaz
Dense second growth between cornfields; common
vine in shrubs, to 3 m tall, with milky sap,
not woody, corky only on large rhizomes,
rhizomes mostly not thickened, horizontal in
litter, and rooting at nodes, corolla white
with deep reddish reticulations, corona lobes
pale orange with a red margin and the upper
flattened part green, gynostegium pale orange
on sides and red on top except with a pentagonal
white line on top and a large white dot on the
apex
