    In crevices of granitic outcrops with much altered parent rock & organic mat.

  • Description

    Petals: light purple till blue in bud: red. Sepals: ple green, somewhat reddish. In fl.: at end of dry season or after first rains. Herb, leafs erect. Supra-terranean parts: with much latex. Subterranean tubers 10x7 cm. without latex. Not common. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
