Elaeagnaceae Elaeagnus umbellata Thunb. det. M. Nee, 2018 WISCONSIN, Richland Co., 4.5 km. (by air) NW of Muscoda, Frank’s Hill. 43°13’18”M, 90°27’43”W. alt. 227 m. T 9 N; R 1 W; SEV4SWV4 sect. 26. Brushy, over-grown formerly open pastured low hill, with Rubus (blackberry), Prunus serotina, Rosa multiflora, Morus alba, a few Elaeagnus umbellata and one Euonymus alata. Shrub with several leaning stems in a clump, this one the largest, 6 cm. in diameter, 8 years old. Voucher for wood specimens at Kw, Lw, MADw, MEXUw, RSAw, Penn State.
