Upland forest of Betula papyrifera, Prunus serotina, Acer
rubrum, Populus tremuloides, Picea glauca.
Tree let 6 m. tall, 5 cm. in diameter, ca. 23 years old.
Voucher for wood specimens at Kw, Lw, MADw,
MEXUw, RSAw, Penn State. Flower white but just past
blooming.
