you ask how it is :this plant differs from your
G. frutieoi^a*; We have both species ’in Queensland,
and they were described and' illustrated by Mr. J. P.
Bailey and myself in the Queensland Agricultural Journal,
August, 1916, p&gel04.
They can easily be told in the pod, * |
tüg G. frutieosus having a sharp terminal beak, whereas
that of G. tphyso carpus is blunt. In flower, they can

be told from the following descriptions in Flora Capensis
by %, E. Brown.
fruticosa Corona-1obes with rather 1ong
backwardly directed falcate teeth at
the inner apical angles; follicles
ovoid or lanceolate, tapering into a
beak or shortly acute.
flhysocarpa Corona-lobes with erect obliquely
subtruncate or shortly falcate teeth
at the Inner apical angles; follicles
subglobose, obtuse or apiculate.
