Dominates include Larrea, Ambrosia dumosa, Ambrosia
salsola, Encelia farinosa.
Shrub, 10 dm; older stems gray, ridged, flower stems green,
glabrous; involucres raceme-like at end of stems; outer
perianth lobes round.
