Luteyn, 2007 The New York Botanical Garden (NY) Oregon State University PLANTS OF ECUADOR IMBABURA PROVINCE: Los Cedros Biological Reserve; elev. 1700 meters. Growing on ridge north of Reserve in true cloud rainforest, heavily shaded under- story. Flowers clustered under terminal leaf, sepals orange, petals purple, green, white at apex, reflexed tip.
