PLANTS OF ECUADOR
IMBABURA PROVINCE: Los Cedros Biological Reserve;
elev. 1700 meters. Growing on ridge north of Reserve
in true cloud rainforest, heavily shaded under-
story. Flowers clustered under terminal leaf,
sepals orange, petals purple, green, white at apex,
reflexed tip. Large leaves, strong mid-vein,
sub-marginal net vein. Plant not erect.
