58°40'W. Elev. 100 to 200 m. Mixed Eperua and Mora
forest on red sand; swampy forest. Also Mora forest on
bauxitic loams. Shrub 1.5 m; sap copious, white;
leaves glaucous below; calyx green, corolla white
except magenta apically.
