APURE: road from Mantecal to Elorza, ca.
50 km N of Elorza, pond on E side of road.
In dark brown clay (pH 5.0) at edges of
pond with with Eleocharis elegans, Eich-
hornia azurea, Neptunia, Salvinia, Scirpus,
and Ludwigia. Sporocarps 1-3 per leaf,
globose, with spiky, cobwebby white hairs.
