Braun FALCON: ca. 2 km E of Huequito, in flood- plain of Rio Hueque. Borrow pit on N side of highway. 5 m. Growing in dense colony with Ludwigia, Najas , and Chara in streamlet entering upper end of pond. Leaves yellow-green, shiny, and almost all floating, producing abundant sporocarps in shallow water. Plants form- ing dense mats of rhizomes on the whitish clay(pH 7.0), but dying quickly upon emersion. 778 2 March 1980 D. M. Johnson 04180720
