Johnson August 1985 HERBARIUM OF THE UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN PLANTS OF ARGENTINA Marsilea concinna Baker CORRIENTES: Depto. San Cosine, road to Ing. Primer Correntino, 2 km N of Santa Ana. Virtually encircling small ponds in low places of quebrachal (Aspidosperma- Schinopsis forest). Soil a silty pale tan clay (pH 7.0). Growing in mud and shallow water with Ludwigia, Panicum, Eleocharis , Ranunculus, Cynodactylon; in deeper water with Egeria and Najas. New sporocarps abundant on buried rhizomes. D.M.
