Primary rainforest dominated by Dacryodes buettneri (2691),
Loesenera walkeri (2697) and Diospyros dendo (2693). On
fíne sandy soils.
Liana, 40 m high in a tree. Branches greyish green, with
white latex. Leaves leathery, upper side almost dull, dark
greyish green, lower side dull, pale green with a very pale
green to pale red primary vein.
Calyx green, densely covered by blackish hairs. Corolla
white, outer side with dark hairs. Anthers dark yellow.
