Haegens no. 2698 d.d. 08.04.1994 Apocynaceae Isotype Baissea longipetiolata van Dilst Det: F. van Dilst 20.06.1994 Gabon, Moyen-Ogooué, 8 km ENE of Bellevue. Alt. 50 m 0°34.7’ S 10°27.8’ E Primary rainforest dominated by Dacryodes buettneri (2691), Loesenera walkeri (2697) and Diospyros dendo (2693). On fíne sandy soils. Liana, 40 m high in a tree. Branches greyish green, with white latex. Leaves leathery, upper side almost dull, dark greyish green, lower side dull, pale green with a very pale green to pale red primary vein. Calyx green, densely covered by blackish hairs. Corolla white, outer side with dark hairs. Anthers dark yellow. Spirit material at WAG. 04177651
