Forest, T5N R3E Sec 10, ca 7000 ft; open dry
douglas-fir forest on granitic substrate.
Common shrub, very few in fruit, younger
leaves on stump sprouts trifoliolate; lvs turning
yellow for fall color (rarely slightly reddish).
