Cut-over semi-deciduous forest on slopes.

Description
Small tree to ca. 4 m tall, with few ascending pachycaulous branches. Leaves gray-green, gray beneath. Calyx green, purple-tinged in upper third (including teeth); corolla pink, with whitish region at base of upper lobes, with dark red lines; filaments and styles pale pink; stigmas deep pink. Fruiting calyx becoming reddish purple. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
