On terrace on south side of small stream draining
Twin Lakes north into Beaverdam Creek; mesic;
hardwood canopy; sheltered to south by steep, north-
facing slope. Site #48 (Lat. 34°04f15"; Long.
82°43,00"), ca. 4.5 miles west of the Savannah River;
ca. 0.75 mile north of Ga. 72. Below the 475-ft.
contour (full pool for proposed Russell Lake).
