    Plants 6-8 ft., very deep-rooted, the roots enlarged. Sometimes cultivated though more of a curiosity than for productivity. Petioles reddish-green. Fls. mas. greenish-yellow, with dark red interior. Fls. fem. greenish-yellow without red pigment. Disc yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
