The New York Botanical Garden Apocynaceae Allamanda cathartica L. det. M. Nee, 1997 Bolivia. Depto. Santa Cruz, Prov. Andrés Ibanez: Santa Cruz. Cultivated ornamentals in Barrio MacDonald. 17°46’S, 63°11’W. Alt. 420 m. Woody, viny, the stems 2 cm in diameter, trailed on a trellis, with copious milky sap. Flowers abundant, showy; flower buds light orangish brown on outside, some of this remaining in anthesis; corolla bright yellow, with more orange lines in throat.
