10998» Aganosma velatina DO. Olimbing tell trees
and forming tangled masses upon them in dry wooded ridges
along the Baraoatan creek at 1600 feet; stem 3 inohes
thick, round, twining and looping about the tree tranks;
old hark grayish brown, deeply checked into small plates,
brown and lentloelled on the branches; wood yellowish,
finely poroas, bendable, bitter bat without odor; branches
lax, half drooping, twigs green; leaves hori«ontally spread-
ing and reoarved, light lucid pleasing green above, very
much paler green beneath, only shallowly conduplioate on
the upper sarface, soft membranous; inflorescence sabereot,
all the stalks and calyx green, corolla tabe also green;
the 5 segments creamy white turning creamy yellow with
age, reoarved, to the rig&t; flowers with a strong sweat
