Elev. ca. 300 m. In cleared area along path to Don Alfonso Juan's house, just S of Miazal. Little-branched herb to 1.5m, flowers finger- shaped, 3-8cm long, leaves with pink secondary veins, otherwise identical to CFL106 (see uses for this pit.) N.V.: natsampar (Shuar) Principal interest: leaves included in remedy given for symptoms resemblin colo-rectal carcinoma (chronic rectal bleeding). Also included in remedy for symptoms resembling oral carcinoma, rheumatoid arthritis, and chronic stomach pain. C. F.
