ranch, 5.6 km (by air) E of main plaza of Ascención de
Guarayos, on gravel road to La Chonta.
15°53’10”S, 63°08’08”W. alt. 215 m.
Slope at edge of extensive marsh (“curichi”) a short, steep
slope, unflooded and not part of the curichi vegetation,
wooded, with Attalea speciosa [cusi] palms, heavily
pastured.
Shrub 2 m. tall. Fruit green, the larger ones with red tinge.
Few fruits open at any one time, the inside light yellow with
sculptured white seeds.
