"Dense prickly clumps, flowers past; Leaves ~ 1 mm wide,
wrinkled, thickened edges; calyx ~ 10 mm long, lobes 5-6
mm long margins long glandular hairy, corolla lobes ~ 7 mm
long and tube ~ 12 mm long, style just 2.1 mm long.
