some Douglas fir canopy.	.
Rhizomatous; culm leaves ~ 3 mm w.de, sheath open ~ 2/3,
Uaule ~ 3 mm papery, flag leaf short; open panicle, spikelets
R 7 mm long 4-5 florets; lower glume at least 1/2 as long as
lowest lemma; lemma 3 1/2-4 mm long, unisexual.
