Label
Sagebrush steppe. (ARAR-PSSP). Associated species:
Artemisia arbuscula, Chrysothamnus visiciflorus, P.
longifolia, C. umbellata, P. Spicata, Poa secunda, P.
muscoides, Haplopappus, Antennaria michrophylla.
Perennial; Herbage pubescent & somewhat retrorsing;
bracts pinkish to creamy yellow, deeply dissected, calyx ~
equal to 1 mm, cleft deeper in back than front, galea 6 mm.
