    extensive rhyolite glade and surrounding open rocky woodlands, with abundant rhyolite outcrops, low bluffs, boulders, and cobbles under open woodland with Quercus alba, Pinus echinata, Juniperus virginiana, Ulmus alata. on lightly shaded rhyolite boulder.
