Description
Terrestrial, suffrutescent herb to 1 m tall. Stems square and winged. Leaves maroon beneath. Inflorescences borne at ground level. Calyx dark maroon. Petals pinkish in bud, translucent, whitish at anthesis. Stamens yellow. [photo; pickled]. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
