Camisea. Campamento San Martin-C, Camimisea Production Unit. S and SW of camp. 11°47'08"S 72°41'57"W. Primary, moist, lowland, non-flooded forest dominated by bamboo (Guadua). Shrub; inflorescence horizontally oriented (plagiotropic); spike green, brushlike; freshly cut stem has fragrance of coconut (sweet spicy). Specimens preserved in 55% ethanol before drying. P.
