At edge of gravel pile along N. side of Beach Road.
Perennial (?) to 5 ft. high; rays yellow, disks brown in bud,
then yellow. Localized population.
Associated species: Coreopsis, Malacothrix saxatilis var.
tenuifolia, Isocoma menziesii, Sonchus oleraceus, Melilotos
albus, Melilotus indicus, Bromus diandrus, Conyza
canadensis, Centaurea melitensis, Atriplex semibaccata,
Malva parviflora.
