evergreen forest north of the buildings.
17°40’20"S, 63°27’25"W. alt. 400 m.
Herbs 0.5 m. tall. Spikes green, held horizontally
in the plane of the leaves. Here and in the near
vicinity occur Piper amalago, P. tuberculatum, P.
longestylosum, P. callosum, P. aduncum, P.
heterophyllum, P. dilatatum, P. hispidum, and
several other species (P. laevilimbum appears to be
absent).
