Elevation: ca. 430 meters. Approximate location:
17°39'S 63°10'W
Shrub. Up to ca. 2.0 meters tall.
Occasional. Growing on hummocks,
and along the transition to upland.
Fertile. Habitat: a seasonally
inundated area of the marsh.
Characterized by abundant
hummock-forming ferns. During
the rainy season, the areas between
the hutnmocks are covered in
free-floating macrophytes.
