lHere and in the near vicinity occur Piper amalago,
P. tuberculatum, P. longestylosum, P. callosum, P.
aduncum, P. heterophyllum, P. dilatatum, P.
hispidum, and several other species (P. laevilimbum
appears to be absent).
Shrub 2.5 m. tall. Leaves smooth above, otherwise
superficially similar to P. hispidum which is here
but not blooming. Spikes arching.
