Exposed rock outcrops and bluffs. Coastal spruce woodland. Infrequent.

Prostrate shrub, branchlets ascending; stems long trailing, ca. 3 ft. long. Fruits glaucous, immature. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
