    Steep, sparsely wooded, southeast slope. Granitic.

  • Description

    Widely and loosely ascending shrub about 1 m. high. Cones blue-glaucous. Juniperus horizontalis passing toward J. virginiana var. scopulorum. Neither pure J. horizontalis nor to the best of my recollection, pure J. virginiana var. scopulorum seen nearby. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
