Habitat
Open field with scattered specimens of Pinus rigida and Juniperus horizontalis. Rare.

Description
woody plant, 7-8 ft. tall. An erect plant, 7-8 ft. tall, spread 1-1.5 ft., branched to the ground, foliage needle-like and sharp, branches divaricate; foliage bluish-green to a steely blue. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
