Dry forest on steep slopes and brushy vegetation along road,
with Loxopterygium grisebachii, Arrabidaea corallina,
Bougainvillea stipitata, Saccellium lanceolatum.
Shrub 3 m. tall. Spikes erect, the leaves hanging.
