West facing, semi- shade in loam and humus. Tall open broadleaved shrub. Shrub, evergreen, height 4m, spread 3m. Leaf: broaclly lanceolate, entire, 11cm x 6cm, petiole 2cm forming a sheath. Flower: Axillary spikes 6cm x 1cm, Pedicel 2cm, creamy white. M.
