SELVA ALTA PERENNIFOLIA. Evergreen tropical forest,
some cleared for pastures, on slopes around and above
Hotel Playa Escondida and the beach on the Gulf of Mexico.
Shrub 3 m. tall in forest. Spikes hanging at all stages.
