Drift Canyon, within 200-300 yards of Dark Canyon, east of Horse Pasture Canyon, in vicinity of 37deg 45'46.1" N lat, 109deg 48/23.6" W long, 2160 meters. In mesic open to semi-open red-sandy banks and slopes, with Salix exigua, Pinus ponderosa, Clematis ligusticifolia, Thermopsis, occasional Abies, Berberis repens, Chrysopsis villosa, Rosawoodsii, Gilia aggregata, Equisetum, Cirsium, Chrysothamnus, Amelanchier, Artemesia tridentata, Oenothera elata, 0 pallida, Castilleja linearifolia, Frasera.
