long, 2160 meters.
In mesic open to semi-open red-sandy
banks and slopes, with Salix exigua,
Pinus ponderosa, Clematis
ligusticifolia, Thermopsis, occasional
Abies, Berberis repens, Chrysopsis
villosa, Rosawoodsii, Gilia aggregata,
Equisetum, Cirsium, Chrysothamnus,
Amelanchier, Artemesia tridentata,
Oenothera elata, 0 pallida, Castilleja
linearifolia, Frasera. Locally common
in afternoon shade, moist soil, just
above water, herbaceous perennial,
flowers yellow.
