alluvial forest. Site #55 (Lat. 34°19*30";
Long. 82°47,40"), just north of the Ga. 181
bridge over the Savannah River. Below the
475-ft. contour (full pool for proposed Russell
Lake). Area to be impounded in the mid-1980's
by the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers.
