It is of a group that I have not touched yet. C.DC. held to the determination in his latest MS. Perhaps it is cyclophylla - hut I look at the thumb-prints of a Brazilian rather closdly when I find him masquerading as a Guatemalan. In ambling around the field I have tried to leave the worst for the end: but I must get obtusifolia straight now. It is for its genus what hispidura is for Piper. While I am hunting for trouble, will you not loan me everything you have under the names listed below? They need not stay long and can go back in company with the peltate species.
