Collected -by Morris W. Clint on U-22-50, near Xilitla, San Luis
Potosi, Mexico. Altitude approx. 4000 ft. Plant more or less epiphytic,
discovered in a cave in the side of a deep canyon. Habit upright to
drooping, possibly climbing in habitat. Stems terete, 3 cm-6 cm in
diameter at base, rather long Jointed. Leaves more or less thickened,
succulent, with petiole 5 ram - 15 mm long, blade dark, shining green
above, lighter below, with veins indented and lighter in color above,
prominent beneath, opposite or in whorls of three at the apex only,
k cm - 9 cm long, 1 1/2 cm - 3 l/2 cm broad. Blooms March-April, under
cultivation.
