Poaceae Setaria pumila (Poir.) Roem. & Schult. [S', lutescens] det. M. Nee, 2018 WISCONSIN, Richland Co., 3 miles SE of center of Richland Center. T 10 N; R 1 E; NE%NE% sect. 35. 43°18’25”N, 90°20’0rW. alt. 225 m. Barnyard, now only with cows from late fall through early spring. Rank growth of Paniceae (Setaria lutescens, Echinochloa, Panicum dichotomiflorum) and Chenopodiaceae (C. glaucum only on bare dirt or manure where not shaded by grasses, Chenopodium album). To 2 m. tall, tillering and rooting at lower nodes. Inflorescence straight, erect, the bristles yellow-orange. Common also in adjacent areas with occasional mowing, and plants immediately sending up short flowering shoots often only 15 cm. tall. Coll.: M. H.
