T 10M- R 1 E;NW'/4SW% sect. 21. 43019,31”N, 90°23’03.5”W. alt. 221 m. With Acer saccharinum, Morns alba. The floodplain here completely dominated by Acer negundo, the larger ones along the edge of the river, and 8 m. tall, multi-stemmed ones in the low flats. Tree 8 m. tall, with double trunk, the largest 50 cm. in diameter, near a pathway shelter, but undoubtedly spontaneous and antedating formation of the hiking/biking path here. Staminate. Coll.: M. H.
