The Republic of Georgia, Kazbegi District. West of town of
Kazbegi and just west of River Tergi on steep bluffs above river,
42°38.965' N, 44°37.752' E, ca 1840 m. (coordinates and
elevation from hand-held GPS, accurate to within a radius of
about 25 m).
Flowers purple/pink.
