Alt. ca. 800 m. *fl 01'W., 11 39'S. D6. Robust herbaceous climber to 2 m. with copious white latex which is scarcely viscid. Leaves slightly fleshy, dull green above, grey green beneath. Flowers with pale green sepals. Corolla lobes dull dark reddish-purple, reflexing. Corona greenish-brown. Fruit pendulous, almost sessile grey-green with soft spine-like protruberances. EX HERB.
