Shrub to 3 m x 1.5 cm; bark smooth,
brown, splitting; leaflets bluish green,
leaf rachises reddish purple, glandular;
petals yellow, the standard rarely with
a few orange markings at apex; anthers
pink becoming dark red with age;
filaments pale yellow; pistil green;
young fruit green; petals fading to
pinkish-yellow.
