with regularly spaced brush-covered ant/termite
mounds with Brosimum gaudichaudii, Curatella
americana, Simarouba, Cvbistax antisyphilitica, on
fine Recent alluvium.

Slender shrubs 1.5-2.5 m. tall, nearly or completely
unbranched; bark reddish-brown; sap watery, clear.
Inflorescence erect; fruit horizontal, reddish or
yellow-green.
