Williams 1973 Steep hillsides ca 12-13 km southwest of Pihuamo, in dense forest over tumbled sharp-toothed limestone rocks, with Brosimum below, and Bursera, Liabum, Verbesina and Louteridium above, elevation 500-600 m. Abundant epiphyte on trees and rocks* Flowers pale pink; lip inrolled at base, with brownish red area inside the rolled part.
