Arkansas Valley. Cove Creek Natural Area. Sandstone bluffs high above
(and west of) Cove Creek. Growing from cracks in vertical and
overhanging bluffs. Vicinity of N 35.29278, W 92.47925. Damascus 7.5’
quadrangle.
Locally common. Fresh flowers white to pink. Many leaves and stems
from a single corm Corms-very deep in cracks in the rock, making them
very difficult to collect.
